What makes this different

Competitors give you projects.
We give you a job.

Real

Real start-up placement

You will be embedded in an actual organisation, working on a live product with real users. Not a case study. Not a simulation.

Live

Live every week

Weekly sessions with your cohort and instructor. Work through real challenges in real time, with senior critique every step.

15

Max 15 students

A small cohort means your work gets seen, your questions get answered, and your progress gets personalised attention.

The stackable path

Two steps.
One career.

The full programme is designed in two stackable steps. Complete both and you graduate job-ready with real professional experience — something no competitor programme can match.

Step 1

Beginner UX Design

8 weeks · £1,500

Learn the craft: research, wireframing, prototyping, and Figma. Build your first portfolio piece. No prior experience needed.

Step 2

UX Career Track

12 weeks · £1,500

Apply your skills on a real start-up. Build a portfolio from live work. Land the job. This is the step you are on.

Full programme: 20 weeks · £3,000 total

What you will do

12 weeks. Real outcomes.

01

Applied UX in a real organisation

Work directly with a start-up as an embedded designer. Navigate real briefs, real constraints, and real stakeholders.

02

Discovery and research in the wild

Run user interviews, contextual enquiry, and synthesis with actual users of your placement product, not a classroom scenario.

03

Design iteration with feedback loops

Prototype, test, and refine your work with the start-up team. Experience the pace and pressure of a live product cycle.

04

Stakeholder communication and critique

Present your design decisions to founders and product leads. Learn to frame rationale, handle pushback, and influence direction.

05

Portfolio: telling the outcome story

Turn your real work into a case study that shows hiring managers what you can do, not just what you made.

06

Job search strategy and interview prep

CV review, portfolio critique, mock interviews, and a structured job-search plan to carry you from course end to offer.

What you graduate with

Everything a hiring manager
wants to see.

Real work experience

A professional credit from an actual organisation, not a classroom exercise.

A portfolio case study

Built from live work: real problem, real process, real outcome. Stands out from every portfolio built from made-up briefs.

Certificate of completion

Issued on graduation. Does not expire.

Interview readiness

CV review, portfolio critique, mock interviews, and a job-search plan to take you from course end to offer.

Questions

Before you enrol.

What is the work experience?

The UX Career Track places you on real design work with a start-up. You will work as an embedded designer on an actual product, with real users and real stakeholders, not a classroom simulation. This is the piece that competitors cannot offer: a genuine professional credit on your CV and a case study built from live work.

Do I need to complete Beginner UX Design first?

The UX Career Track is designed as Step 2 of our stackable path. We expect you to have completed our Beginner UX Design course (8 weeks) or to have equivalent foundational UX knowledge. If you are unsure whether your background qualifies, email us at contact@myuxacademy.com and we will advise honestly.

How much does it cost?

The UX Career Track is £1,500 for this step, with a £99 fully refundable deposit to hold your place. If you complete the full stackable programme (Beginner UX Design + UX Career Track) the total is £3,000 over 20 weeks. Interest-free payment plans are available, and we offer a price-match guarantee.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. Your certificate is issued on completion and does not expire.

When does it start?

Cohort 1 starts 5 September 2026. Sessions run Wednesday evenings, 6:00 to 8:30pm UK time. Places are limited to a maximum of 15 students, so reserve your place with a £99 refundable deposit to avoid missing out.
