The course has been absolutely fantastic. The teachers have been brilliant and very attentive. Definitely recommend for obtaining real life experience and developing a grounding in UX.

What makes this different

A second client, as a team.
1:1 job support.

Real

A second real client

A live brief from a real UK company, run as a design team — a different client and a different project from Beginner week 6.

Live

Live every week

Weekly sessions with your cohort and instructor. Work through real challenges in real time, with senior critique every step.

1:1

1:1 job support

Personal portfolio critique, CV review, and mock interviews — deeper than group portfolio prep, and it continues past course end.

The stackable path

Two steps.
One career.

Two stackable steps. Complete both and graduate with two client case studies, a full portfolio, and a structured job search behind you.

Step 1

Beginning UX (AI) Design

8 weeks · £1,500

Learn the craft: research, wireframing, prototyping, and Figma. Build your first portfolio piece. No prior experience needed.

Step 2

UX Career Track

4 weeks · £1,000

A second live client brief, run as a design team, plus 1:1 job support. This is the step you are on.

Full programme: 12 weeks · £2,500 total

What you will do

4 weeks. Real outcomes.

01

The brief

Meet the client. Scope the project as a design team: real constraints, real stakeholders, a real UK company, not a classroom scenario.

02

Research and design sprint

Run discovery, design, and iteration together as a team, with senior critique every step, at the pace of a live product cycle.

03

Present and turn it into a case study

Present your work to the client, then turn the outcome into your second portfolio case study, built from real constraints.

04

Job support

1:1 portfolio critique, CV review, mock interviews, and a structured job-search plan that continues past course end.

What you graduate with

Everything a hiring manager
wants to see.

A second client project

A live brief from a real UK company, run as a design team — distinct from your Beginning UX (AI) Design client project.

A second case study

Built from live work: real problem, real process, real outcome. Adds depth to the portfolio you started in Beginning UX (AI) Design.

Certificate of completion

Issued on graduation. Does not expire.

1:1 job support

1:1 portfolio critique, CV review, and mock interviews, plus a structured job-search plan that continues past course end.

Questions

Before you register.

Is the course online or in-person?

The course is 100% live online. You join small live classes over Zoom on Wednesday evenings (6:00 to 8:30pm UK time) from anywhere in the UK or abroad -- there is no in-person attendance and no commute. Every session is recorded, so you can catch up if you miss one.

How is this different from Beginning UX (AI) Design, which already has a client project?

Beginning UX (AI) Design gives you your first client project (week 6) and group portfolio prep (week 7). The UX Career Track is a second, separate live brief from a different real UK company, run as a design team rather than solo, and the job support is 1:1 -- portfolio critique, CV review, and mock interviews with an instructor -- and continues past the end of the course. It is a deliberate second step, not a repeat of week 7.

Do I need to complete Beginning UX (AI) Design first?

Yes. The UX Career Track is a 4-week extension for Beginning UX (AI) Design graduates, or those with equivalent foundational UX knowledge. Unsure whether your background qualifies? Email hello@myuxacademy.com and we will advise honestly.

How much does it cost?

The UX Career Track is £1,000 for this step. If you complete the full stackable programme (Beginning UX (AI) Design + UX Career Track) the total is £2,500 over 12 weeks. Interest-free payment plans available on request.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. Your certificate is issued on completion and does not expire.

How do I book a place?

The UX Career Track is register-interest only for now: it is open to Beginning UX (AI) Design graduates and we are confirming the client brief for Cohort 1 (21 September 2026). Register your interest below and we will be in touch. Sessions run Wednesday evenings, 6:00 to 8:30pm UK time, with places limited to a maximum of 15 students.
