Reviewing the course itself

What students say about the experience.

I was deciding between around 12 UX courses and am so happy I went with UX Academy. The deciding factor was the length, price, and access to mentors. The course is very interactive and hands-on so you learn whilst working on a real project.

The 8 weeks training course is a great introduction for a beginner looking to work in the field. Each three-hour workshop involved a trainer presenting their topics of expertise followed by team exercises to expand on what was learned.

I'm very happy taking the Beginner Course with UX Academy. I genuinely feel I have a great and solid understanding of basic UX skills I can now build upon. The teachers were amazing and gave us a great insight into the industry and career options in UX.

Thorough research of UX course offerings led me to believe UX Academy was by far the best opportunity. Having completed the Beginner UX Design course, that belief is not only validated but even stronger. It's hard to believe I went from slightly knowledgeable to feeling confident and experienced in just eight weeks.

Product Designer (UX/UI), Bluepass

Before joining the Intermediate course, my user research toolkit was limited. Drafting explicit hypotheses, structuring effective ideation exercises, and synthesising findings are my key takeaways. Access to teachers who are also practitioners gave me the confidence anyone investing in a product design career needs.

With 3 years of UX design experience, the course was a great way of consolidating knowledge and putting theory into practice. Much more industry-oriented than university — we worked on a project from start to finish, building every part to create a strong portfolio piece.
