You can read the results of studies students attach to your class. You can't change them. Students can also swap: answer each other's studies, so everyone gets more than a handful of responses.
No names. No emails. Just answers.
- We don't ask participants for a name or an email.
- We don't link an answer to a person.
- In a class, students log in, so you see who made which study. You never see who gave which answer.
- You can close a study at any time, and delete it.

Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything?
No. The tools are free to use, and so are sharing a study, the results and the downloads. There is no trial, no class licence and no limit that switches on for teachers.
Do students need accounts?
Not to take part in a study: that is just a link. You sign in to share a study or keep it in My work. If you set up a class, students log in with an email link to join it, so you can see their studies. The builder tools, such as personas, journey maps, heuristic evaluation and the calculators, need no sign-in at all.
How many students can take part in one study?
A study holds up to 1,000 responses. One limit to plan around: each internet connection can send up to 150 responses an hour to one study, so a whole class on one campus network is fine.
Can I print the assignments?
Yes. Every assignment page has a print button that prints just the student brief, with the steps, what to hand in and questions to discuss.
Can I reuse a study next term?
Yes. In My work, choose Duplicate from the study menu. You get a copy of the setup with no responses, a new link and its own closing rules, and the original keeps its results.
How long is the data kept?
A study stays open for 12 months from the last time you opened its results, then expires. You can delete a study yourself at any time. Participant answers are anonymous, and our privacy policy has the full detail.
