What the results show you.
- A chart for every question: counts, percentages, means and histograms, with the question wording above each.
- Every typed answer: listed and taggable by theme, so nothing hides behind an average.
- Filters: narrow everything to the people who gave one answer.
- Export: one row per person as CSV, or the full report as PDF.

Frequently asked questions
Is this survey tool really free?
Yes. Building a survey, previewing it as a participant and reading your results cost nothing, and there is no credit card step. A survey takes up to 1,000 responses. You sign in with an email link only to get the share link. You bring the participants; there is no recruitment panel.
What kinds of question can I ask?
Single choice, multiple choice, a rating scale (3 to 10 points, with labels you write), a number, a matrix of statements on one shared scale, and short open text. Each one can be required or optional. You can add up to 30 questions.
Can I split a long survey into pages?
Yes. Tick "Start a new page before this question" on any question after the first. Participants see one page at a time with Back and Next, and required questions are checked before they move on.
Is it anonymous?
We don't ask for a name or email, and we store the answers and how long the survey took. Participants are told you wrote the questions, so only ask for personal details if you need them. Open text can contain anything people type.
What do the results show?
A summary (responses, median time to finish, how much of the survey people answered), then a chart for every question: counts and percentages for choices, the spread and mean for ratings, a histogram for numbers, a stacked bar per row for matrices, and every typed answer for text. You can filter by any choice or rating answer and tag open-text answers by theme.
Can I export the results?
Yes. Download a CSV with one row per person and one column per question (a matrix gets one column per row), or print the whole report to PDF from the same menu.
Can I change the questions after the link is live?
No. Changing a question after people have answered would make the earlier answers meaningless, so a live survey's questions are fixed. You can still change the thank-you link, close the survey, set a response limit or add a password. To change a question, duplicate the survey and share the new link.
What can't it do?
There is no skip logic or branching, no file upload, and no participant panel, so you recruit your own respondents. Each person can answer once per browser. A survey is best for short, direct questions; for tasks, use a first-click, tree or prototype test.
How many responses do I need?
It depends on what you want to say. About 30 gives you a first read on the common answers. For percentages you can lean on, aim for 100 or more, and remember a self-selected sample only describes the people who chose to answer.
How does this compare to paid survey tools?
Paid tools mostly add skip logic, a participant panel, team workspaces and support. This one doesn't branch or recruit for you. The question types, pages, charts, tagging, filters, AI summary and CSV export are free.
