What participants read first
You will try to sign up in a clickable prototype. Nothing is real, so you can make up details. It is the design being tested, not you.

Frequently asked questions
What's in the sign-up and onboarding template?
The instructions, 2 tasks with their wording and time limits, and any follow-up questions. Your screens and the goal screen for each task are left for you, because they depend on your prototype.
Can I change it?
Yes. Rewrite the tasks, change or remove the time limits, add an expected path, or add up to five tasks. The template only fills in the wording.
How many people should I test with?
Around 15 to 20 people is enough to spot the steps where people stall. Read the follow-up answers beside the time on task.
Do I need an account?
No. You can build, preview and download without signing in. You only sign in to share a link or save your work.
